In today’s world of educational publishing a wealth of programs, including teaching tools, animations, videos, support imagery, presentations, illustrations, and a variety of other support media are developed to support and drive learning objectives.

Managing these assets and creating the proper distribution channels around them is the basis behind our Asset Management System we implemented for McGraw-Hill’s Presentation Center. Almost 200,000 assets are stored in a central library where they are  applied to book titles across a dozen disciplines. Approved users can search, sort, filter, and preview assets while compiling a “shopping cart” of assets to download.

The system is designed to integrate with McGraw-Hill’s SMS system as well as their Book Companion Sites. Asset’s availability and level of control are based on their licensing agreements.
