Following a winding and indirect path, Tamara has arrived at Hunt & Gather to practice her tireless organizational skills in the form of account management. After graduating with a degree in Dance, concentration in pre-medical studies (Yes it’s weird. She knows.), from the University of Buffalo, she diverted from both paths and wound up in a print-marketing company in Chicago. Three years later, she finds herself happy in Boston and happy at H&G. She supplements her still-enduring study of ballet with yoga, learning photography, running on the Charles, weekly visits to the library, and constant travel. It's a busy life, but someone’s got to do it.

To speak every language in the world fluently. And to beam myself places. I get two.

FAVORITE WAY TO ANNOY MY NEIGHBORS:

By singing along to musical tracks at the top of my lungs. And playing whatever my latest favorite song is over and over again.

WHY MY NAME IS THE COOLEST:

My parents chose it as a “family” name when they were married. It is a Hindu greeting that means, “I honor the peace within you”.

WHAT MAKES MY NAME LESS COOL:

Tamara means “ever-glowing palm tree”. Sooooo yeah.
